Husavik Green Hostel

From the moment I stepped into this hostel, I was blown away by its beauty and comfort. The cleanliness, organized kitchen, and cozy hangout area provided the perfect place to relax and recharge. The helpful and friendly front desk staff made me feel right at home, offering great recommendations and even sharing a laugh about the Eurovision movie. The convenient central location allowed me to easily explore the surrounding area, and the ample parking was a bonus. I would definitely stay here again, and for a longer period of time, to fully enjoy all the wonderful activities in the area.

I absolutely adored the cozy hangout area, it was the perfect spot to relax after a tiring day of exploring. And let's not forget the incredibly comfortable bed, a rare gem in a hostel.

A Home Away from Home in Beautiful Húsavík We had an amazing stay at this cozy, well-appointed accommodation. the host was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring that our nephew arrived safely and making us feel welcomed. the location was perfect, with stunning views and a convenient proximity to attractions such as whale watching, a café, and a museum. We also appreciated the owner's personal touches in the common area and enjoyed engaging conversations with her, learning so much about the country and its people. This little oasis truly felt like a home away from home, and we can't wait to return!

The hostel was clean, cozy, and environmentally friendly, with recycled furniture. It had a great kitchen and living area with books and games. Perfect location, close to the harbor and shops. Loved it!

The best thing about our stay was the warm welcome we received. The owner personally called us to check on our arrival time and waited for us. She was very concerned about our safety given the recent extreme weather conditions in the area. The hostel itself was great! It had a strong focus on being environmentally friendly and sustainable. The facilities and shared areas were clean and well-maintained. The location was also a plus, with street parking available and it being conveniently close to the bus stop.

That some of the electrical sockets in our room didn't work. However, the owner assured us that she would get them fixed as soon as possible.

The value for money at this hostel was amazing and the room was really comfortable. The location was perfect, right in the centre and close to the whale watching places.

The breakfast menu could have had a bit more variety.
